1/2H have been exploring PROPER NOUNS this week.

1. a name used for an individual person, place, or organization, spelled with an initial capital letter, e.g. Jane, London, and Oxfam.

   
   

   
   

   A proper noun word hunt was conducted in the classroom. Proper nouns were located in dictionaries.. They were written in Handwriting books and  pictures drawn to match proper nouns. Each student also made a booklet all about themselves. They did a great job remembering to use a capital letter for all the proper nouns including their full name, their birthday month, favourite place to shop and a place they have visited.
