Being safe around dogs

Last Thursday we had Erin and her dog Jax visit our school to show us how to be responsible and safe around dogs. The students learnt about the body language of dogs and how that shows us what they are feeling. They also learnt the 4 steps to approach a dog safely, walk slowly, stop, let the dog sniff the back of your hand and pat their back between their neck and tail. It was a great afternoon!

Assembly Item

I am so proud of all the students who performed in today's assembly item. They did such an amazing job and I have received many many good compliments from other teachers telling me how great the item was today and how lovely their beautiful smiling faces looked on stage. I would like to thank all the mums who helped make the shark fins to finish off their costumes so perfectly and all the parents and grandparents who came to support the students as they performed on stage. Here is a photo and the video of their performance for those who were unable to make it today.

Grandparents Day

It was so wonderful today to be able to celebrate Grandparents day. We honour and respect our Grandparents for all the love they show to their grandkids and the all the wisdom and knowledge they freely pass onto them as love help guide them through this world. We hope all the Grandparents enjoyed coming into our school and we really enjoyed sharing part of our day with you.
